About this episode

Diamonds have long symbolised love, legacy - and controversy. In this episode, we meet Wesley Tucker, CEO of Tracr, De Beers Group’s pioneering blockchain and AI platform that tracks the journey of each diamond from source to store.

As global scrutiny over ethical sourcing grows, Wesley explains how Tracr is helping bring radical transparency to an industry once clouded by opacity. But this conversation goes beyond blockchain, it's about rebuilding trust across a complex value chain - from miners and manufacturers to regulators and retailers.

For business leaders, it’s a powerful case study in what it takes to embed trust into your technology, your brand, and your stakeholder relationships, and why transparency is no longer just a value-add, but an expectation in today’s complex landscape.
