Collaborative work, industry recognition
Positive Change Group agencies, Black Sun Global and Stratton Craig, have won Silver in the Best Purpose-Driven Content category at the Corporate Content Awards 2026 - recognised for their collaborative work with DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private energy company.
The winning entry was DTEK’s Fight for Light Action Report - the story of how a company employing 55,000 people has kept Ukraine’s lights on through three years of war, restoring electricity more than 40 million times for households in regions affected by hostilities.
Telling a story that needed to be told
Three years into the war, DTEK had been largely absent from corporate reporting - its story told by others rather than itself. The Fight for Light Action Report was its opportunity to reclaim that narrative: to put its purpose, its people and its performance on record, and to do so in front of world leaders at Davos.
The scale and urgency of the brief called for a genuinely collaborative approach. Black Sun Global and Stratton Craig worked alongside DTEK’s team to build the report from scratch in ten weeks - balancing authentic human storytelling with clear evidence of business resilience and a forward-looking vision for Ukraine’s energy future.
Since launch, the report has generated more than 50,000 website views, 35,000 unique users and an average time on page of three minutes. A LinkedIn campaign extending the storytelling reached over eight million views and 7,000 engagements.
About the Corporate Content Awards
The Corporate Content Awards is the only awards programme dedicated entirely to benchmarking excellence in corporate storytelling - recognising how organisations bring their narratives to life across owned, earned and paid media, spanning digital, print, social, video and internal communications.
Entries are assessed by a panel of senior in-house communications experts against four criteria: objective, research and planning, strategy and implementation, and results. Judging is conducted anonymously on a points basis, with judges recused from any category in which they have entered, ensuring a rigorous and conflict-free process.
