Strategic AI leadership appointment

Positive Change Group (PCG) has appointed Rod Banner as Group AI Czar, as part of its vision to become an AI-first stakeholder engagement group. This appointment marks an important step in PCG's exploration of AI's impact on stakeholder relationships, particularly in corporate reporting, sustainability strategy, brand communications, and organisational culture.

AI is reshaping how businesses engage with stakeholders, transforming expectations for transparency, responsiveness, and trust. As organisations navigate these changes, PCG is committed to ensuring AI is leveraged responsibly to enhance—not replace—human connection.

Judges' recognition for strategic communication

AI is not just changing how businesses operate - it is redefining how they build relationships and earn trust. As part of this journey, I'm delighted to welcome Rod Banner as our Group Chief of AI. His expertise at the intersection of AI, communications, and strategy will be invaluable as we help businesses use AI's potential in a meaningful, human-centred way."

Rod Banner, Group Chief of AI at PCG, added: "AI is rewriting the engagement rulebook, and businesses need to adapt quickly to stay relevant. But AI isn't just about innovation - it's about collaboration. Organisations are facing a wave of change, and we need to work alongside them to cut through the complexity and make a real impact. I'm thrilled to join PCG, a global team of changemakers helping ambitious brands build trust and connection. Together, we have a unique opportunity to shape how AI strengthens meaningful stakeholder relationships."

Next steps for PCG's AI strategy

Rod's appointment marks the start of PCG's AI journey. In the coming months, the group will roll out new initiatives and take part in industry conversations to explore how businesses are using AI to engage with stakeholders, the evolving impact of AI on stakeholder relationships, and what responsible adoption looks like in practice.
